Rafael Nadal says he is getting better after starting training as part of his recovery from a knee injury.
He hasn’t played a competitive match since losing to Czech Lukas Rosol in the second round of Wimbledon.
Nadal wrote on his Facebook page: “My first tennis practice after all these weeks. Getting better and hope to continue with the positive trend.”
The 26-year-old is aiming to be fit for the Australian Open in January and has started practicing on a hard court. Nadal now ranks as world number four in tennis.
