As the year 2012 gradually comes to an end, and the year 2013 draws close. I take a moment to think of the things I’m grateful for. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing lots of tremendous happenings around me this year.
I had my beautiful daughter early this year. I still have a vivid memory of how I was overwhelmed with joy when she was born. The bitter-sweet experience of labor before delivery. Her arrival into my life and my partner, has been with blessings, lots of love and favors. Not a day passes, that I don’t thank God for her. I’m lost for words each time she smiles at me. I really love and adore her.
I’m grateful for my hubby. God anointed him and blessed us with a baby girl. I’m a proud mom today. I’m also thankful for lots of things that I wouldn’t disclose.
My late mother in law was a rare gem. Her death made all her loved ones break down, including me. Though she’s gone, I’m still thankful for the months I stayed with her. Those are moments I cherish a lot. I’m glad my daughter had the privilege of meeting her grandmom before her demise.
I’m thankful for my family members (my hubby’s family and mine). My uncles, aunts and relatives. This year has been a tremendous year for them all.
I’m thankful for all of my accomplishments. Things I prayed for that were answered, and those that are yet to be answered.
I’m thankful for my friends. Those that I’ve known like forever, especially from 1996 till date and those I’ve known along the line. My life has been interesting with you all by my side.
I’m thankful for my followers on twitter, facebook and various social medias. Surfing the internet wouldn’t have been this fun, if you haven’t been part of what makes browsing and networking interesting.
As much as I would love to keep pointing out the things I’m thankful for, I would rather draw the curtain here. The year 2012 has been a promising year for me, I also believe it has been likewise for all of my readers reading this article. Feel free to post the things you are thankful for, for the year 2012. May the year 2013 be more glorious than 2012 for us all, in Jesus name. Amen.
