Amanda Bynes unleashed some serious fury on Rihanna via Twitter, calling her “ugly” and hitting her below the belt with a reference to her infamous abuse scandal with Chris Brown. With no apparent reason.
“@rihanna Chris Brown beat you because you’re not pretty enough.” And, “@rihanna no one wants to be your lover so you call everyone and their mother that I almost named my new dog Rihanna.”
Bynes quickly deleted her tweets after the damage had been done…
The 23-year-old singer dropped by Today to chat about his new music (which he hopes will “inspire the world”) and, of course, his infamous 2009 assault on Rihanna.
“For me, you know, I’ve been humbled by the whole experience,” he told Matt Lauer. “From me losing everything, you know, to me having to regain public opinion or whatever it is—but most importantly, you know, knowing that what I did was totally wrong and having to kind of deal with myself and kind of forgive myself in the same breath and being able to apologize to, you know, Rihanna and be that man that can be a man, you know?”
“Knowing that what I did was wrong, and never doing it again,” he added. “So as far as me and [Rihanna] are concerned, she knows my heart, and I know her heart. So I’m not really focused on the negative.”
He also noted that he and Rihanna are “fine” and that “everything’s good” now between the tumultuous twosome.
Rihanna has so much faith in her relationship with Chris Brown and believes things would turn out fine.
“‘Stay’ is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever,” she said, while discussing the song she sang at the 2013 Grammy Awards, in the April issue of Elle UK, on newsstands March 6.
“You don’t have that feeling with everybody, so when you have it, you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that Chris is the one I have that kind of relationship with.”
Just last month, Rihanna celebrated her 25th birthday with Chris Brown in Hawaii, and she accompanied him and his mother to court a few weeks before that when the L.A. District Attorney’s Office was questioning the validity of the community labor he performed as part of his sentence for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
Rihanna says that she and her man want right now, more than anything, “a great friendship that’s unbreakable. Now that we’re adults, we can do this right. We got a fresh start, and I’m thankful for that.”
Rihanna also predicted to Elle that she’ll “probably have a kid” five years from now, but she wouldn’t mind a good month of vacation first.
Chris Brown who had his arm around his lady, looked equally happy to be reunited with Rihanna.
Four years ago the couple had both missed the Grammys after their infamous battery incident. It’s really nice seeing Rihanna and Brown in high spirits.
Chris Brown became the latest victim of celebrity swat ting after cops rushed to his house Monday in response to an emergency call that turned out to be a hoax.
Per the Los Angeles Times, police received a call before 5 p.m. alerting them of an alleged domestic-violence at the singer’s L.A. home and claimed the caller’s mom may have also been shot. But cops found no such disturbance when they arrived at the house, where they were greeted by members of Brown’s staff.
Although Chris Brown wasn’t home, his parents arrived shortly afterward as police investigated the premises. He now joins a slew of A-list celebs who’ve recently been targeted by celebrity swat ting, including Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber..
Meanwhile, Brown and Rihanna continued to fuel chatter box about their cryptic relationship when they were both spotted at a West Hollywood hot spot on Friday.
Karrueche Tran has opened up on where things stand between her and her ex, Chris Brown. “At the end of the day, he will always be my friend,” she told Vibe. “We’ll always care about each other…and I do love him.”
Meanwhile, it appears as if the current state of Tran’s relationship with Brown doesn’t settle well with Rihanna, who tweeted a letter on Monday that seemed to be directed at them.
“There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it,” it read. “Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.”
Rihanna spreads more holiday cheer in Los Angeles at the Lakers game with Chris Brown.
The duo has yet to confirm if they’re back in a relationship. Both looked cozy when they were spotted coupled up courtside as they watched the Lakers take on the Knicks.
They were dressed in all black, with Brown sporting a blonde hairdo and Rihanna rocking the gold necklace, rumored to be from Chris Brown, which she wore during her perfume launch in the beginning of the month.
Rihanna also tweeted a photo of Chris and her posing in front of her new Porsche 911 Turbo S with the caption, “ThugLife #merryChristmas.”
